The calculators produce geometric planning estimates from the values you enter and the conventions they state. They are not a structural design, an engineering calculation, a permit decision, legal advice or a substitute for your local building code, permit process or inspection. Code values are shown for information and may not be the rules that apply to your project.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for measuring correctly, checking results before building, confirming the rules that apply where you build, and getting qualified help where a project needs it. Check critical dimensions on site before cutting material.
